Sahar Atapoor (MD)

Sahar Atapoor is a medical doctor from the prestigious Shiraz University of Medical Science, Iran. (Not registered with the college of physicians and surgeons of BC)

After graduating in Iran, she became interested in skin care, skin care products and laser procedures. In order to put her interest into practice, she opened a non-surgical cosmetic laser clinic together with her husband Ali Omrani.

Upon moving to Canada, she attended Langara College in Vancouver, BC and got her Certificate in Medical Aesthetics.

Sahar’s ultimate goal has always been to create an environment where she can provide a convenient, safe, and effective care for her patients by combining up-to-date medical aesthetic science with the latest technologies. To achieve her goal, she opened White Orchid Rejuvenation Centre in the heart of Yaletown and continues to participate in workshops, laser and skin care trainings and industry conferences.

She is a member of the following associations:

Ali Omrani (MD)

Ali Omrani studied Medicine and graduated as a medical doctor from the prestigious Shiraz University of Medical Science, Iran. (Not registered with the college of physicians and surgeons of BC).

Upon graduating, he started his own practice in skin care and laser treatments with his wife, Sahar Atapoor. Following his move to Canada, he continues to participate in hands-on training workshops and conferences in medical aesthetics to offer the best possible solution for his patients.

Today, Ali is in the middle of completing his education as a naturopath at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario.

He is a member of the following associations:

Mojdeh Forouzesh, RMT (MD)

Mojdeh is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with CMTBC. She is also a General Physician licensed in Iran. Her passion for helping people and personalized care for each client allows Mojdeh to customize the treatment plan based on the client’s unique situation. This way, she is able to treat the root cause of dysfunction instead of just the symptom.

Mojdeh’s years of experience in the medical field and massage therapy provides her with extensive knowledge about the body and its healing process. She practices deep tissue massage and relaxation techniques to successfully treat muscular pain, tightness, and soreness brought about by stress, and acute or chronic pain in the shoulder, knee, and joints. She is also experienced in prenatal massage and can help alleviate calf spasms and lower back pain in pregnant women.

Outside of being a Registered Massage Therapist, Mojdeh enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also keeps herself active by hiking, camping, and dancing. This keeps her in a good mood and allows her positivity to shine onto others from within.

Naghmeh Ghane Tehrani (MD)

Naghmeh is a Registered Practitioner (Acupuncturist & Herbalist) and member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CTCMA).

She graduated from the practitioner program focusing on acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at the PCU College of Holistic Medicine in Vancouver, BC. In addition, Nagmeh graduated as a medical doctor from the Azad University of Medical Science, Iran. (Not registered with the college of physicians and surgeons of BC)

Nagmeh was a general physician for 8 years in Iran where she practiced family medicine and felt rewarded by helping families be healthy. Combining her background in Western medicine and interest in acupuncture and natural healing, Nagmeh decided to continue her education in traditional Chinese medicine in Canada.

Nagmeh provides a gentle approach to healing and diagnoses each condition to bring the body back in balance. She pays attention and treats the root of the condition, not just the symptoms, to achieve long term well-being.

She specializes in treating:

Dr. Terrie Van Alstyne, ND

Dr. Terrie Van Alstyne is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto preceded by 3 ½ years of pre-medical studies at the University of Victoria.

Dr. Terrie won the award for “Most Outstanding Clinician” in her class demonstrating her commitment to go above and beyond in finding and treating the cause of illness by combining effective natural methods. She strives to optimize physical, emotional and spiritual health in her patients by applying advanced treatment techniques to achieve sustainable results.

Dr. Terrie is trained in aesthetics and anti-aging, nutrition, gastro-intestinal and hormonal health, as well as trauma therapy using musculo-skeletal treatment methods for acute and chronic pain. She offers a 4, 6 or 12-week Core Healing Detoxification Program where she combines nutrition, detoxification and intestinal healing with external skin treatments to help patients reverse the signs and symptoms of aging.

Since 2008, Dr. Terrie has been focused on anti-aging medicine and facial rejuvenation techniques using Dermal Filler and Neurotoxin (Botox) injections, Facial Mesotherapy and Aesthetic Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).
